A thorough physical therapy evaluation is necessary in order to provide an efficient, effective treatment.  Every system of the body (muscular, fascial, lymphatic, neuro, circulatory, craniosacral and visceral) should be considered.  It is important to consider the entire body instead of separate parts, as it is connected and functions as a whole.  Providing the patient with a clear understanding of the problem and how their compliance with the home program such as posture and exercise results in a good outcome is key to success.

1. What are you most passionate about professionally?
I have wanted to help people since I was young.  I enjoy the challenge of evaluating clients and solving problems in order to improve their quality of life.  I enjoy learning and take more than the required educational classes to maintain my PT license.  The body is complex and there is always more to learn.  I love it when people say, “you helped me get my life back”!

2. Where can we find you when you’re not working?  What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends on the weekends.  I have been seen with my favorite running partner, my dog Waylon.  Gardening, quilting, hiking and spending time outdoors are some of my passions.

3. What would be impossible for you to give up?
Faith and prayer are the first priority in my life.  This helps me focus on what is important.  Time with my husband, girls and grandchildren is very precious.
