PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
Each and every patient deserves the respect and care we would choose for our family members to receive.  Having this in mind, I focus my continuing education on progressing my skills to provide patients with the best possible physical therapy treatment.  I utilize an integrated approach combining manual therapy, exercise, and modalities to facilitate healing.  This empowers the patient to achieve maximum function, quality of life, and symptom reduction.

1. What are you most passionate about professionally?
I am passionate about providing patients with the tools and knowledge to care for themselves.  Pain and dysfunction effect many aspects of our lives, making it essential to address for work and play. Getting to know my patients and watching them "get back their life" is fantastic!   In order to provide the best care, I educate myself through continuing education courses passing on this knowledge and expertise to my patients.  I enjoy teaching, having taught at the Collegiate level in the past.  I now work with physical therapist assistant students yearly as a mentor in the clinical setting.

2. Where can we find you when you are not working?  What is your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?
Being a mother and wife, my time away from work is mostly spent with my family.  My husband and I have two children whom we enjoy very much!  Spending time with friends and family, making basic jewelry, boating, skiing, camping, fishing, riding ATVs or motorcycles, or just playing in the yard with our kids and our dog fill my off time.   Just relaxing at home is a great way to spend a day too!

3. What would be impossible for you to give up?
I could not give up Montana!  I was born and raised in Eastern Montana.  My husband was raised in the Western part of the state.  Having family and friends throughout Montana, we travel to "both sides" to visit.  Living in such a beautiful state, I enjoy the scenery, diversity, and all the outdoor activities it has to offer.
